How to Tell If You're Dehydrated- 2 Simple Tests
There are many ways to tell if you're dehydrated, some of them very obvious and some of them you may now find out how to tell for the first time.
The first obvious one is if you are very thirsty. If you're craving liquids, and in particular water, this is a clear and easy signal your body is giving you that it wants water.
A second easy signal to tell if you are dehydrated is if your mouth is extremely dry, you know, that dry mouth feeling. This is a clear indication to buy some bottled water or head over to a nearby water fountain to fetch a drink.
These are some of the obvious signals that you most likely were already aware of. Now I want to show you two specific tests that you can do to determine if you are dehydrated.
First Test- Urine Test
One test to do to determine if your body is dehydrated is to check the color and quantity of your urine. If you urinate and your urine is yellow, whether dark or light (dark indicating higher body toxicity), you are dehydrated. You should drink enough water so that you are urinating at least 10 times a day clear and crystal white in color. This is an easy check to check for dehydration.
Second Test- Spit Test
A second effective test that you can do to determine dehydration is to spit. Spit into the sink. The thickness or fluidity of your spit can determine whether you are dehydrated. If you spit into the sink and your spit is thick and lacks fluidity so that it doesn't flow down into the drain or barely so, you are dehydrated. Your spit should be thin and fluid so that when you spit, it easily moves and goes straight down the drain. Thickness of spit is a sign of dehydration.
So there you have it. Two easy tests to tell if you're dehydrated. I hope you pass them.
