Can Women Preach?
Women cannot preach at all according to God's Word.
Any church that allows a woman to preach during service is a false church and is not recognized by God. The bible says this clearly.
There is no disputing it.
1 Timothy 2:11-12 "A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet."
1 Corinthians 14:34
"The women are to keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but are to subject themselves, just as the Law also says."
God, through His Word, makes it clear that he wants the man to lead. He wants men to preach and be in charge of his church and women to be in
submission. If a woman is not supposed to teach over a man or have authority over him, how can she preach and instruct him in God's Word during service? She can't.
God says that women must be quiet and be in submission. They are not to preach or instruct over man.
1 Corinthians 11:3
"Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God."
God created man as the head, and he wants man to be the head and take the role of authority.
There should not and cannot be any dispute. This is why the churches of Christ only have men as the ministers, preaching the Word of God. Women keep quiet and stay in full submission.
